Itinerary:
Day 01: IslamabadOur guide and driver will pick you at the airport in Islamabad or Lahore and transfer to Hotel in Islamabad for overnight stay.
Day 02: Islamabad – Chilas
Early morning drive to Chilas it takes approximately 10 hours to reach Chilas from Islamabad, This day we will drive on the Karakoram High which is the highest paved international road in the world. It connects China and Pakistan across the Karakoram mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, at an altitude of 4,693 m/15,397 ft as confirmed by both SRTM and multiple GPS readings.
Day 03: Chilas – Karimabad
Departure for Karimabad en-route we will stop at the view point or Nanga Parbat , the junction point of the three great ranges “Karakorum, Himalaya & Hundu Kush” and in Gilgit for lunch, after lunch we will continue our journey onward to Hunza , On the way we will pass through the beautiful white show capped Rakaposhi 7788m view point from where you can see and take a close up shot of the peak. Arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Day 04: Karimabad
Today will be the preparation day for the trek, we will buy some trekking foods and in the afternoon we will visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort and Duiker for sunset.
Day 05: Karimabad – Passu
Departure for Passu en-route we will stop in the beautiful village of upper Hunza (Gojal), arrive in Passu and transfer to the hotel.
Day 07 – 12: Trek to Guchesm and back to Passu
1st camp at Summer Khun (Summer House)
2nd camp at Kuck hail
3rd camp at Guchesm
4th rest day at Guchesm
5th camp at Yeshperth
6th back to hotel in Passu
Day 15: Passu
Rest day / Explore around
Day 16: Passu – Gilgit
Drive back Gilgit on Karakorum Highway to Gilgit, en-route stop at the village for photography, arrive and transfer to the hotel
Day 17: Gilgit – Besham
Departure for Besham via Karakorum Highway, arrive and transfer to the hotel
Day 18: Besham – Islamabad
Departure for Islamabad, en-route we will visit Taxila museum, arrive and transfer to the hotel
Day 18: Departure!
Drive to the airport and fly to destination
